Erica Mears
I started assisting Dorset Search Dogs in August 2009. I first became interested in Search and Rescue (SAR) dog work whilst I was working in New Zealand. In October 2009 Freya came home to live with me and my family. She was an eight week old cute and cuddly German Shepherd puppy and life has not been the same since! As she's growing she is surpassing all my expectations both on and off the SAR field, loving life in full.
Erica became a full Dorset Search Dog trainee dog handler in January 2010.
