February 2010 - A huge thank you to the Herston Wives who picked Dorset Search Dogs as one of their chosen charities to benefit from all their fundraising efforts. January 2010 - Many thanks to Glenn and Lynn Cooper who took time out of their own fundraising efforts to help Dorset Search Dogs raise £250 from a pub quiz. Glenn and Lynne usually run Trekkers Camp at Woodlarks - a camping holiday for disabled people. Visit their website www.trekkerscamp.org.uk |
News of 200910th September 2009. Fairoak, Hampshire. Charlie finds missing male. Unfortunately the male was found deceased. Friends of Kinson Common The team receive over £60 in donations from visitors to their stand at the Friends of Kinson Common show. Team deploy to Ascension Island, South Atlantic February 2009 - The team were deployed to the Ascension Island, South Atlantic, to help find a missing female. 16th January - the team were called to assist find the driver of an upturned car on the A350 in the early hours of the morning. Man would have frozen to death A tribute to volunteer search and rescue teams. 10th January 2009 - A DISTRESSED man was airlifted from an area of heath land in Poole on Thursday night in what Dorset Police have described as a “major search”.
