February 2010 - A huge thank you to the Herston Wives who picked Dorset Search Dogs as one of their chosen charities to benefit from all their fundraising efforts.


January 2010 - Many thanks to Glenn and Lynn Cooper who took time out of their own fundraising efforts to help Dorset Search Dogs raise £250 from a pub quiz. Glenn and Lynne usually run Trekkers Camp at Woodlarks - a camping holiday for disabled people. Visit their website www.trekkerscamp.org.uk

10th September 2009. Fairoak, Hampshire. Charlie finds missing male. Unfortunately the male was found deceased.

Friends of Kinson Common The team receive over £60 in donations from visitors to their stand at the Friends of Kinson Common show.

Team deploy to Ascension Island, South Atlantic

February 2009 - The team were deployed to the Ascension Island, South Atlantic, to help find a missing female.

Search for missing driver.

16th January - the team were called to assist find the driver of an upturned car on the A350 in the early hours of the morning.

Man would have frozen to death

A tribute to volunteer search and rescue teams.

10th January 2009 - A DISTRESSED man was airlifted from an area of heath land in Poole on Thursday night in what Dorset Police have described as a “major search”. Read the Echo article here.

Charlie helps Police locate male buried in a suitcase

29th May - Charlie and Matt assist Dorset Police locate the remains of a murder victim buried in a suitcase next to the A338, BOURNEMOUTH

01 November 2008 - Trainee search dog Charlie(2) has the find at HENGISTBURY HEAD, BOURNEMOUTH.

03 May 2008 - Matt & Charlie, with their joint membership with LSD Southern, pass the National Search and Rescue Dog Association (NSARDA) assessments
