DORSET SEARCH DOGS are a non-profit voluntary organisation whose primary role is to assist the Police and local Search and Rescue Teams.
We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for callout to search for missing persons across the South Coast and surrounding areas.
Dorset Search Dogs are members of Lowland Search Dogs and work closely with our neighbouring team, Lowland Search Dogs Southern who are Hampshire Based.
Our members are all Search Trained to levels specified by the Association of Lowlands Search and Rescue (ALSAR) and the dogs are individually assessed to standards agreed by the Lowland Search Dogs Committee.
