March
05 March 2010 09:54 - Callout to assist HantSAR search for a missing 83 year old female, suffering from dementia, in the HYTHE area of HAMPSHIRE. Matt and Charlie searched a small but dense section of woodland within a housing estate, assisted by Sandy from DorSAR. The team had other areas to search but were stood down a third of the way into the search when one of HantSAR's foot based teams located the female.
03 March 2010 22:48 - Standby to assist Dorset Police and Portland Coastguard. A 13 year old boy went missing from school and was last seen heading towards HENGISTBURY HEAD, SOUTHBOURNE. Concerns were growing as the night was getting colder and colder and enquiries with the boys friends offered no further leads. The team were stood down within the hour when he turned up at home, safe and well.
01 March 2010 22:23 - Callout to assist DorSAR and Portland Coastguard look for a missing 19 year old girl in the LANEHOUSE area of WEYMOUTH. The girl was last seen the night before camping in a field. Matt and Rob searched with Charlie but were stood down approximately 15 minutes into the search when she was located safe and well by coastguard personnel.

19 February 2010 20:20 - Callout to assist Dorset Police in their efforts to find a missing male from WEYMOUTH. His car was located near PUDDLETOWN HEATH, DORCHESTER. Unfortunately no one from the team were available. Despite this, search teams from across the south assisted in the search effort. 16 February 2010 19:50 - Callout to assist HantSAR and LSD Southern. A group of cyclists had located a body but were unable to refind the location after having raised the alarm. Matt and Cath, with search dog Charlie were on route but were stood down half an hour later when the body was located.
16 February 2010 11:49 - Standby to assist LSD Sussex. A planned early evening search for on going efforts to find a missing 52 year old female in the HAYWARDS HEATH area. Within an hour of the standby notification, she was located in a field by a helicopter involved in the search and airlifted to hospital. Consequently the team were stood down and were not needed.
08 February 2010 14:46 - Callout to assist HantSAR and Lowland Search Dogs - Southern. A 12 and 4 year old, in the LORDSWOOD area of SOUTHAMPTON, had been missing since the morning. Matt with search dog Charlie were available to respond with Andy and Rob supporting. The team were stood down 9 minutes later when the two children were located safe and well nearby.
06 February 2010 10:33 - Standby to assist HantSAR search for a 50 year old despondent male in WARSASH, HAMPSHIRE. Matt and Andy were available but were stood down 28 minutes later when the male turned up safe and well.

28 January 2010 20:20 - Callout to assist Portland and Solent Coastguard search for a despondent 15 year old girl who had gone missing somewhere along the Dorset / Hampshire coastal border. A large search operation was being mounted by the coastguard prior to Andy and Matt's arrival. The girl was located safe and well.
28 January 2010 16:15 - Callout to assist Portland Coastguard search for a male who reported that he had fallen off of his bike, broken his ankle and was trapped in mud, near water. Matt and Andy responded with search dog Charlie. The team were stood down on arrival when the male was located by the coastguard helicopter. He wasn't trapped in mud, he was only near a puddle and didn't have an ankle injury. Unfortunately, the male in question enjoys the attention and likes to set up situations to keep emergency services on their toes.
15 January 2010 15:00 - The teams second callout to assist WiltSAR in one day. Unfortunately no team members were available to assist.
15 January 2010 03:13 - Callout to assist WiltSAR search for a missing female who could not be found after her vehicle span off the road into a ditch. Matt and Charlie responded arriving at CROCKERTON an hour and a half after departure. Fifteen minutes later, the lady was found safe and well by police.
02 January 2010 - Standby to assist HantSAR search for a missing 87 year old female in Southampton. The female was found safe and well in the PORTSWOOD area after urban search efforts by the foot based teams.
02 January 2010 - The second standby of the day. Standby to assist HantSAR search for a missing 61 year old female in Southampton. Dogs were not required on this occasion.
